Acquired studio space at Bath Artists’ Studios 2012 and has since been developing a new body of work whilst product testing her new ideas at various selling events, most notable of which was her first major selling event as a ceramic artist at the Bristol Wool Fair 2014 (Sept) selling wheel thrown yarn bowls to discerning knitters and crocheters. She took over 100 yarn bowls and sold more than half, as well as over 300 handmade porcelain buttons. This gave her the confidence to become a full-time ceramicist and apply for the BCTF as a way to meet gallery and shop owners.

Bristol Wool Fair (Sept 2014) This was the event that made her realise that maybe she can make a go of her ceramics professionally. She sold over 60 Yarn Bowls, roughly half of what she took, which left her hungry to do more shows. The week after, she applied to BCTF and got offered a place as a newcomer the same day.
Also, with the help of her husband and some very good friends, Emily organised and appeared at the Bath Central Art & Fair 2013 to 2015 during the Bath Christmas Market. She has since stepped down in favour of a another organiser to focus on her own practice which is growing exponentially.
